Alachua County deputies investigate fatal shooting
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Alachua County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting as a homicide.
Deputies responded to 2010 N.E. 192nd Ave. after receiving a call about a shooting. They say William Henry Redd, 44, had been shot in the upper torso and was transported to a hospital where he later died.
