Battle of the Bands contest in St. Augustine

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A local spin to a "Battle of the Bands" contest will take place at St. Augustine High School next month.

Junior high, high school and college students will compete for a cash prize to support the St. Johns County Center for the Arts Chorus Department. The event is at 7 p.m. Feb. 16. at the high school at 3205 Varella Ave. in St. Augustine.

Adults are $10. College students, junior high and high school students are $7 with current student ID. Tickets will be sold at the high school at 6 p.m. Doors will be open to the public at 6:30 p.m. Food and soda will be provided.
