Car hits JTA bus after crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A crash involving a JTA bus happened late this afternoon at the intersection of Norwood Avenue and West 44th Street.

Police on scene tell us it happened after a Mercedes ran a red light.

Investigators say the Mercedes hit another vehicle trying to make a left turn.

The crash reportedly caused the Mercedes to then bounce off and hit the bus waiting at a red light.

Three people were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries, including both drivers of the cars involved and one bus rider.
