TAMPA, Fla. -- During the 11 p.m. news broadcast Tuesday night, Action News reporter Catherine Varnum was covering Mitt Romney's victory speech from Tampa when two cars slammed into each other right behind her.

The crew was preparing to wrap up their live coverage outside Romney's campaign headquarters when reporter Catherine Varnum heard her photographer yell "MOVE!"  Live on air, you could hear a crash and then the camera followed one of the cars down the road.

According to the photographer, Ernie Hall, one of the drivers ran a red light and crashed into the back quarter panel of the second car.  That driver was able to regain control before hitting the Action News crew.

The drivers decided not to call the police.  No one was hurt.
