SOUTH PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Crews in St. Johns County are working to return a stranded sailboat back to the ocean, so that it can be repaired.

The boat crashed ashore late Monday night after being adrift for seven days. Two men and a dog were onboard the boat when it became stranded.  Everyone is OK.

The sailboat was on its way from Port St. Lucie to the Bahamas when it lost power.

Rough winds carried the boat to our area. Once crews get the sailboat off the sand, it will be towed to a local marina for repairs.
