JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Join the Jacksonville Humane Society, the City of Jacksonville's Animal Care and Protective Services and First Coast No More Homeless Pets for the Name Your Own Price adoption event happening this Friday and Saturday.
They want you to visit the shelter and pick out a furry friend based upon what you can afford. This is part of the city's effort to reduce euthanasia of healthy cats and dogs. Please note the Name Your Own Price promotion does not include the $20 city license fee for Duval County residents.
The more you donate at the Name Your Own Price adoption event, the more dogs and cats local shelters can save in the future!
The Jacksonville Humane Society, Animal Care & Protective Services and First Coast No More Homeless Pets' Mandarin Adoption Center will have hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens for adoption.
Check it out Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The locations are:
