JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day most government offices and facilities will be closed. Closures include:
- Jacksonville City Hall
- Offices of the Tax Collector
- Property Appraiser Offices
- Supervisor of Election offices
- U.S. Postal Service
- Public Libraries
Residential garbage, yard waste and recycling will be collected as usual on Monday, Jan. 21 in Duval County. The Trail Ridge Landfill, located at 5110 U.S. Highway 301, will maintain normal operating hours.
