Jacksonville events will close roads this weekend
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- There are several events in downtown Jacksonville on Saturday that will affect traffic. JSO says drivers need to be prepared for possible detours.
Scheduled Events: Color Run
JSO will be using a hold and release traffic pattern on Gator Bowl Boulevard for approximately one hour following the start of the race.
Run 5 to Keep Kids Alive
JSO will be using a hold and release traffic pattern on the Main Street Bridge and the Acosta Bridge from approximately 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Drivers will need to use an alternate route.
U.S. Women's National Team vs. Scotland Soccer Match
Fans should try to cross the bridge into downtown that is closest to their parking space not the bridge most convenient to their origination point. For example: if you leave from San Marco and your parking pass if for Lot C, do not take the Main Street Bridge. Instead take the Hart Bridge and enter the stadium area that way. It will save time spent in traffic on the downtown side of the bridge.
