TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Department of Economic Opportunity has named Jacksonville's Chad Poppell as its new chief of staff.
Jesse Panuccio, DEO Executive Director, said "Chad brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in government operations and management."
Poppell recently served as the director of employee services at JEA and before that he was chief of human resources for the city of Jacksonville.
Poppell will begin on January 14th.
