Largest wedding vow renewal ceremony planned
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Ripley’s Believe it or Not! will once again try to shatter the world record for the most couples simultaneously renewing their wedding vows.
According to Ripley’s, nearly 700 couples participated in the multi-lingual wedding vow renewal ceremony last year.
This year’s partaking in holy matrimony will happen February 10th at 2:00 p.m. Ripley’s Believe it or Not! St. Augustine location.
The only requirement for the renewal is a photo copy of the couple’s original wedding certificate and a photo ID.
Currently, the University of Miami holds the world record for hosting the largest wedding vow renewal ceremony with 1,087 couples participating.
