Man arrested after attacking father
MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- A Clay County man was arrested Monday night after deputies say he attacked his father in their home.
Thomas Clayton Cox Jr, 47, of Lisa Dawn Drive in Middleburg was charged with battery on a person 65 years old or older and domestic battery.
According to the police report the older man was in his bedroom with the door locked when his son managed to get in, jumped on top of him while he was in his bed and began to hit him. The elder man said the younger one repeatedly punched him in the chest and face.
