COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- Robert Allen Bowmer, 35, of Wellborn, Florida died Friday evening after being ejected from his Ford Expedition along Interstate 10 according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Bowner was heading westbound along the Interstate when he overcorrected causing the SUV to turn counterclockwise. The vehicle eventually overturned numerous times ejecting Bowner according to the crash report.
FHP says Bowner was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
It is not yet known what caused the driver to first lose control of the vehicle.
