New DCF contract to save Florida taxpayers millions of dollars

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Department of Children and Families signed a new contract to carry out services for those who receive food and cash assistance

"Our agency is constantly seeking ways to become more efficient while providing quality services to people in need across Florida," said DCF Secretary David Wilkins

The contract term begins on July 1, 2013.

The new contract will not change the current card or customer contact information for those receiving Food stamps, or cash assistance.
