JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Westside gas station.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says officers were dispatched to the Hess Express at 551 Cassat Avenue just after midnight on Feb. 6 regarding an armed robbery.
An man was trying to buy a Black & Mild cigar but when the cashier opened the register the man grabbed money from the drawer and threatened to shoot the cashier. He then fled the store in a gold and silver Nissan Altima. The suspect indicated that he had a gun during the robbery.
The unknown suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 35 years of age, between 6'1" and 6'3" tall, and between 190 and 215 lbs. He was wearing a black "hoodie" style sweatshirt.
