Teenager shot in St. Augustine

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A 17-year-old has just been released from the hospital.  Now, the search is on for the shooting suspect.

The shooting happened Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m.  Neighbors called police after they heard gun shots on the 30th block of Nesmith Avenue.

He told police he was sitting inside a car in the driveway when he saw a white Chrysler convertible drive by.  As the victim was getting out of the car, he heard three gunshots.

A neighbor took the teenager to the hospital.

Police are talking to neighbors to try and get a better description of the suspects.

The victim is expected to be okay.
