MANOR, Ga. -- A fast moving wildfire in Ware County, Ga. has families moving out.

The fire started around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and quickly started moving southeast.

Emergency Management teams tell Action News around 25 to 30 homes were evacuated.

Many of those people have been able to return to their homes.

When the fire started moving west toward Manor, a new round of evacuations were ordered.

"It really scary for us," says Ware County neighbor Lisa Wilson, who remembers the wildfires of 2007 in Ware County that charred more than 100,000 acres.

"You never know what's going to happen," adds Wilson, who says she'll be ready to leave on a moments notice.

The Red Cross is on standby and ready to open a shelter if needed.

The fire started in about the same place in Ware County where the giant 2007 fire started.
