Lots of drama tonight!!! As you all probably know by now, tonight was SUPPOSED to feature the top ten girls of Season 9, however due to Crystal Bowersox being taken to the hospital this morning, the guys had to sing instead! Talk about a HUGE change!!! Here they were thinkin' they had the night to relax and watch the ladies perform... but nope! The anticipation is building, my heart is racing… it must mean elimination night! These shows always end up aggravating me because they draaaaaaaaag out the cuts till the very end. In my quest to be up to date on all things Idol, some juicy information has come to my attention that I just HAD to share with all of you!

So tonight, the top 24 was revealed and I could not be more excited about season 9! There are some really, REALLY talented people, and for the first time in a few years, I feel like we've got a wide variety of styles and genres represented by the contestants.

Here we are at Hollywood Week, round three already! These rounds are always some of my favorites; they seem to bring the most drama... and lets face it, Drama = GOOD TELEVISION!

Okay, so I'm gonna rehash this episode kinda quickly cause there's honestly just too much to cover in one lil' blog. Tonight was the infamous Group Round: the round that makes or breaks you, the round that stresses you out to the MAX.

Okay, last night was hands down one of the best audition episodes ever! WHY have they not done this in the past? For those who missed it, Wednesday evening's American Idol episode was titled "The Road to Hollywood"...

So Denver Colo., the location of last night's Idol auditions. The mile high city definitely brought out her share of personalities.

Well, I guess I couldn't expect to be thoroughly entertained two nights in a row. :) Don't get me wrong, Dallas definitely brought out some good talent—but I'm still stuck on a high from last night's auditions.

LA! I LOVE LA!!! Not just because the weather is beautiful, not just because that's where I got to spend 5 days for Hollywood week last season on American Idol, but because this has been my FAVORITE audition city - by far! Perfect mix of weirdos and talent - FINALLY!

I don't think I was alone in hoping that tonight's episode would outshine the disaster that was the "Cchicago auditions" - and thank God it did! I definitely laughed out loud more than a few times mostly due to the judges' commentary… they were on a roll tonight!

You'd think the largest turn out for Idol auditions this year would result in some amazing talents, but from the looks of tonight, I can't say that it did.

Well, season 9 has started off with quite a bang that's for sure! These 2 hour premieres are so much fun because just when you think the episode is over you realize you've still got another hour left!
