BREAKING IDOL NEWS: Phil Phillips' mom ARRESTED for DUI!
She appeared smiling, happy and proud, alongside her son on many episodes of American Idol season 11; but today the mother of Phillip Phillips has found herself behind bars.
Law enforcement in Albany Georgia spotted Sheryl's van swerving across lanes of traffic earlier this morning, and when they pulled her over she was reportedly unable to complete a field sobriety test. She was transferred to a nearby hospital where doctors determined that she was well enough to go to jail.
She has since been charged with DUI-Less Safe which indicates that police believe she was under the influence of another substance other than alcohol.
No statement has been released from the Phillips family as of yet. Story Developing.
