Hangin' w/ Ruben Studdard

This weekend I had the opportunity to take a mini vacay to beautiful Amelia Island, and it was all for a great cause.

The relaxation started the minute I got into my 2013 Ford Fusion from Bozard Ford. After a quick 45 minute drive to the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island, my hubby and I were ready for the evening's festivities!


After settling into our room it was time to head to the Boys & Girls Club of Nassau County Gala - and what an incredible event this was! 

It all began with a cocktail hour and silent auction featuring over 75 items...






But of course the main event was when Ruben Studdard took the stage to not only sing, but to share his personal connection to the Boys & Girls club.

He even stuck around for a "Meet & Greet" afterwards!







This year the Boys and Girls Club of Nassau County raised over $150,000.00 - that's more than ANY year prior!  

I'm so honored to have been a part of such an amazing event for an even greater cause.  Thanks to all involved - It was definitely an evening to remember.

This incredible woman (Ann Moser) not only organized the Gala but serves as VP of the Boys & Girls Club of Nassau Co and is member of the board of directors.  Not only that but she volunteers as well.  Proud to call her friend.
