E-mail Karl ยปKarl Torp is an award-winning journalist who came to WTEV-WAWS TV in the fall of 1999. His first week in town, Hurricane Floyd brushed the First Coast, and it's been busy ever since.
You can see a lot of Karl on the weekends. He anchors CBS47 News at 6 & 11 as well as FOX30 News at 10.
Whether it's covering breaking news, digging into investigations, or occasionally filling in on the sports desk, Karl says "It's never quiet in Jacksonville."
Karl has also played a big role in reaching out to local schools. He's worked with several schools and coaches to organize charity basketball games.
