Jacksonville, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jaguars signed 2013 seventh-round draft pick Jeremy Harris to a contract, the club announced today.  Harris, the 208th overall selection, was the first of two seventh-round picks for the Jaguars and he is the first of the team’s eight draft picks to sign a contract.

Harris, 6-2, 185, played under Jaguars defensive backs coach DeWayne Walker at New Mexico State the last two seasons.  He played his first two seasons at East Los Angeles Junior College before transferring to New Mexico State.  Harris tallied 56 tackles as a senior along with 10 passes defensed while earning first-team All-WAC honors.  He totaled 27 stops as a junior in 2011.
