Thunderstorms in SW Caribbean......

A cluster of t'storms continues in the SW Caribbean & is associated with pretty active westward-moving tropical wave. The wave will move over Central America before it has a chance to develop but could develop in the E. Pacific early next week.
A large upper low is over the E. Atlantic S/SW of the Azore Islands. This cold core system is unlikely to develop.
We're now entering the last month of the 2012 hurricane season. About every other year or so, at least 1 named storm develops in the Atlantic Basin in Nov. The prime area is the Caribbean, SW Atlantic & occasionally the E. Gulf. There are only 2 names left on what has been an active hurricane season to say the least. Should we run out of Atlantic Basin names, we would go to the Greek alphabet (last necessary in 2005).
