Weak Wave in & Near the Caribbean.....

A couple of tropical waves to track:
* the first is in the Central Caribbean -- a combination of a weak wave & surface trough of low pressure.  The wave will continue W/NW then turn more north & might even turn more north the next few days as a an unseasonable deep upper level trough digs to near the Gulf Coast.  Little or no development is likely.
* Another tropical wave is moving into the E. Caribbean.  Heavy rain & gusty winds will affect the Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico & Hispaniola as the wave moves west/northwest.  As a whole...southwesterly shear is still significant so little short term development is likely.  This wave should also turn more to the north with time as it becomes influenced by the upper level trough over the Central & Eastern U.S.
Conditions might become more favorable over the Atlantic Basin for general tropical development -- gradually -- over the next couple weeks.

Meanwhile.. A disturbance off the coast of Mexico in the far E. Pacific is moving northwest with the potential for development.
