Low pressure continues in the Central Atlantic & still has a hybrid or frontal appearance (cold front extending to the south with a band of convection & a warm front to the northeast with possible occlusion underway). There will be a slow drift to the north & northeast. No threat to the U.S.
In the E. Pacific (last satellite image below) well west of Mexico & far to the south of the Baja of California....hurricane "Kenneth" became a Cat. 4 early Tue! "Kenneth" is the strongest hurricane for so late in the season in the E. Pacific -- at least in the satellite era (since the early 1960s). The hurricane is moving west & is of no threat to any land areas & should quickly weaken by late in the week.
