Large Low in Central Atlantic
An expansive low pressure
is developed over the Central Atlantic well to the east/southeast of Bermuda. Subtropical -- or maybe even tropical ("Melissa") -- development is quite possible as the system moves northwest before becoming absorbed by a large trough over the W/NW Atlantic turning the storm to the north. This is no threat to the U.S. or any land areas for that matter.
… & more & more video is being released -- click ** here ** from CNN showing the mighty storm surge from super typhoon "Heiyan" -- awful! Very similar to a tsunami in this case.
