Low Pressure in Central Atlantic

Low pressure continues in the Central Atlantic & still has a hybrid or subtropical appearance. There will be a slow drift to the north & northeast, & the system could be subtropical soon.  No threat to the U.S.

In the E. Pacific (last satellite image below) well west of Mexico & far to the south of the Baja of California....hurricane "Kenneth" has developed -- the latest that a named storm has formed in the E. Pacific since 1983. The hurricane is moving west & is of no threat to any land areas & should quickly weaken by late in the week.
