"Debby" made landfall near 5pm on the upper west coast of Florida near the Big Bend & has rapidly fallen apart.....

** The significant flooding threat for the First Coast is diminishing though standing water & river flooding will continue for some time ** .............

Dry air (see 2nd satellite [water vapor] image below) & westerly shear has had its way with "Debby" leaving the tropical cyclone in a dishelved state as it tries to move across Florida.  The record rainfall across the First Coast west to the Panhandle will become a thing of the past as what's left of "Debby" moves into the Western Atlantic then turns more northeast over the W. Atlantic.

For the First Coast...the heaviest rain is over after more than 20" in some spots.  Standing water & river flooding will continue due to the magnitude of rain & saturated soil.
