$5,000 Reward offered in murder of 83-year-old man

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- First Coast Crime Stoppers is now offering $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest in the murder of an 83-year-old man.

Homicide detectives with JSO say Robert James Levey was brutally murdered on June 25.

His body was discovered inside his home on Mimosa Drive. the home had been set on fire.

Investigators are looking for a suspect described as a white male, in his late teens or early twenties. The suspect is between 5'6'' and 5'7'' and 120 pounds. Investigators say the suspect had shoulder length brown hair at the time of murder.

At the time of the murder the suspect is believed to have been wearing shorts, a green t-shirt, and carrying a black and white backpack.
