JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Light rain showers will spread west to east across metro Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia overnight into early Thursday. Amounts, however, will only average a tenth or two for Southeast Georgia to tenth of an inch or less -- not even measurable in some places -- for Jacksonville and the rest of Northeast Florida. Such light rain will not help with the high fire danger or the high pollen counts. Temperatures will remain mild into the weekend though strong onshore winds will briefly bring cooler temperatures Friday.
