An inland freeze/frost this morning
JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- A brief taste of winter -- a glancing blow from an arctic air mass that has spread across the Northern U.S. -- will drop temperatures to below freezing for several hours on the north and west side of Jacksonville and for as long as 6-7 hours well inland west of Highway 301. Lows will stay above freezing near the St. Johns River, intracoastal and the beaches. A warming trend will begin Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 60s. No more freezes will occur the rest of the week with highs near 70 degrees by Thursday and Friday.
