An unsettled week of weather
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Jacksonville went off without any problems from Mother Nature. Morning rain fizzled as spectators gathered along the parade route.
Timing is everything this week as occasional showers are in the forecast. Today's rain originated over the Atlantic and moved ashore. In the coming days, the clouds and rain will come from a different source: a cold front.
A weak cold front will push into the area later on Tuesday. A few raindrops will fall as temperatures do the same. High temperatures on Wednesday will drop to the upper 60s. Meanwhile, temperatures are close to 80 degrees on this Monday.
Rainfall amounts will generally be very limited, although the clouds will persist all week. A second cold front arrives this weekend. It will be drier with this second cold front.
