JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Temperatures dropped to the mid 30s in the Jacksonville Metro Area early Thursday morning. Wind chills were as low as 30 degrees in Duval County.

Looking ahead...
A FREEZE Warning has been issued for Friday morning in the following counties: Duval, Nassau, Baker, Clay, Union, Bradford, Putnam, Columbia, and Alachua.  The warning is in effect from 2AM-9AM.

The freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are expected for up to 6 hours within the warning area.

Another cold front is coming Friday afternoon, meaning another freeze is expected Saturday morning. The weekend will feature below-normal temperatures but plenty of clear skies.
