BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Tuesday night, the Brunswick City Commission voted unanimously to adopt a local indecent exposure ordinance.

The ordinance was introduced because the baggy pants ordinance was not getting enough support. The indecent exposure ordinance does not address clothing, but it does say that it is unlawful to show nudity or body parts in public.

The residents say the new ordinance makes perfect sense.

"You can wear your pants anyway you want to as long as you don't show your personal stuff. Anybody can wear their pants the way they want. Nobody has the right to let you know you can't do this or that," Johnny Dosen said. He was a supporter of allowing people to wear baggy pants.

The law now goes to the mayor for his signature. He plans to sign it within the next few days, and was one of many who thought the baggy pants ordinance was unnecessary.
