JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Your "First Alert"!: big weather changes are on the way as a strong cold front plows across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Friday night into Saturday. Friday will be windy and warm with afternoon highs close to 90 degrees. Widely scattered heavy thunderstorms will develop near the sea breeze by late in the day and move northeast possibly reaching the coast in the evening. The cold front will then produce widespread rain late Friday night into Saturday. The clouds and rain will keep temperatures only in the 60s or some 25 degrees lower than Friday. Sunday will be very cool with a breezy northeast wind off the Atlantic. Skies will be mostly cloudy with some light rain at times as temperatures begin the day in the 50s and only warm into the 60s Sunday afternoon.
