ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. - The Coast Guard was called out this afternoon assist after a 70-year-old man had a heart attack during a fishing trip.

A crew from Mayport was called to the charter fishing boat Majesty about 14 miles east of the entrance to the St. Johns River.

The crew determined that it was best to keep him on the Majesty during transport to shore.

The crew escorted the Majesty to Monty's Marina in Atlantic Beach, where EMTs transported the man, who was in stable condition, to a local hospital for further treatment. His condition is unknown.
