JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - His name is Tamolis Clark, but he goes by the nickname "Bones." From his Facebook page, you can see what some would call a troubled teen with a lot of his photos showing him with his middle finger up.

But that's not the 18-year-old neighbor Joann Lowe is familiar with.

"He's always very respectful, just an all-around great kid," said Lowe.

But according to police, that "kid" who Lowe says always offers to help her with her groceries, was found Tuesday morning in a car outside of Englewood Senior High School with a loaded .22 caliber pistol, a box of ammunition, and a knife. A black skull cap and gloves were also found on his backseat.

"You hear about it all the time happening in other places and I wouldn't think it would happen right across the street," said Brandon Seal.

According to Clark's arrest report, he admitted he had issues with a couple of students at Englewood. One of the witnesses in the car with him said he came there that morning to resolve them.

Police stepped in before anything violent happened.

"We've got good police officers, good security guards. They do their job," said Englewood senior Jevaun Daley.

"I'm in awe that that's him, that that would happen, and that he would do that," said Lowe.

Clark told police he's a member of the music group "Midlife." Action News uncovered that Midlife is a local rap group with violent lyrics glamorizing guns. But those who know Clark are standing by their belief that he never meant for it to go this far.

"I just refuse to believe that he had intended to actually use that. I think he was just showing off," Lowe said.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, this is Clark's first felony arrest here in Duval County.

Clark is being charged with possession of a weapon on school property, possession of a firearm on school property, carrying a concealed firearm, and trespassing on school property.
