Dogtoberfest scheduled for Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Halloween isn't just for the kids; it's for your canine, too! First Coast No More Homeless Pets is throwing their annual Dogtoberfest at Met Park this weekend.

Dress up your pooch in his favorite costume and you could win a prize. Dogtoberfest is First Coast No More Homeless Pets biggest fundraiser.

"Dogtoberfest is a free event. We do ask people to donate $25," Dianne Wiles of FCNMHP said. "That gets you a goodie bag that you take along to Trick or Treat walk. It's a short walk around the river where sponsors will be handing out free goodies for your pet."

Dogtoberfest is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
