Elderly couple arrested for cultivating marijuana
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says an elderly couple from the Westside has been arrested for marijuana in thier home.
Police say 66-year-old Henry Kallina and his wife 65-year-old Charlotte Kallina surrendered to the DEA Friday for an outstanding warrant stemming from a search warrant served at their Westside home in early June.
According to JSO a special agent with the DEA served a search warrant for the couples home at 805 Shady Reach Drive on June 2. Inside the agent found 86 marijuana plants in various stages of growth.
Police also found five pounds of marijuana packaged in vacuum sealed bags.
The couple were released from jail early Saturday.
