FSCJ institutes new spending policy
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Foundation Board of Directors at Florida State College at Jacksonville have created a new policy designed to cut back on wasteful spending.
The board must now approve all expenditures more than $1,000 unless that money has already been approved in the operating budget. Anything less can be handled by the Executive Director or President.
FSCJ has been under fire for their spending practices as well as a student loan scandal involving improperly awarded federal grants.
