JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Ron Davis says Black Friday will always carry a dark memory after losing his 17-year-old son, Jordan.
Jordan, a popular student at Wolfson High School, was shot to death at the Gate gas station at Southside Boulevard and Baymeadows Road.
Michael Dunn was arrested in Brevard County on Saturday morning on a warrant from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Witnesses say Dunn opened fire on an SUV full of teens. Davis says his son tried to escape. The teen and his friends were on their way home from the mall when they stopped at the gas station for drinks and gum.
Jordan's father told Action News that Dunn got into an argument over loud music coming from the SUV that Jordan was riding in.
"My son and none of the kids ever got out of the car because they had the child lock on the back and my son was in the back seat," said Davis.
The boy's father said the past 24 hours feel like a nightmare that he can't wake up from.
As Davis still struggles with his grief, he now wants answers from the person responsible.
"Killing my son, he's going to lose his life whether it be through the legal system or God. God's going to punish him for that."
Police arrested Dunn without incident in Satellite Beach.
