Four Flagler Beach firefighters fired
FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. -- Four firefighters in Flagler Beach have been fired after an investigation into drinking on the job.
Fire Chief Martin Roberts, Assistant Chief Shane Wood, Firefighter Jacob Bissonnett and a city employee were fired last week after they were investigated for drinking on the job during a Christmas party.
The investigation began in December. One accusation claimed the men even responded to a call after they had been drinking. A female volunteer was also fired but her name hasn't been released.
