JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Winter weather is back along the First Coast! Freezing temperatures are expected through early Wednesday.
The freeze warning is in effect during the coldest hours early Wednesday (4 AM to 9 AM). The counties in the freeze warning include: Duval, Nassau, Clay, Baker, Union, Bradford, Columbia, and Alachua.
Inland Northeast Florida will experience 3 to 5 hours of sub-freezing temperatures. Minimum temps will range from 29 to 32 degrees. Remember to cover or protect the sensitive plants. Outdoor pets should be brought inside.
There's also a frost advisory for the same time period in Putnam and Marion Counties.
Temperatures will moderate as the week progresses. Temperatures will climb back to near 70 degrees on Friday.
