JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Once again, Jacksonville and Gainesville set record lows...tied for both cities Wednesday morning. JIA fell to 52 degrees, matching the low temp from 2002. Gainesville dropped to 45 degrees (1960).

The warming trend kicks in to high gear Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures will reach the mid 80s, which is where we should be this time of year.

Expect just isolated inland storms starting Friday. Otherwise, it will be mostly dry and quite warm through the weekend. We may hit 90 degrees for the first time this year over the course of the next several days.
