PALATKA, Fla. – High winds brought down trees and powerlines Saturday throughout Putnam County.
One of the areas hardest hit was near Palatka.
The Putnam County’s Emergency Operations Center reports that eight homes near the intersection of West River Road and Mink Road suffered damage.
Numerous trees also were reported down across the county. Families along Mink Road tell Action News they think a tornado came through the area.
The National Weather Service is still investigating those claims.
