Jacksonville celebrates Jordan Davis Day
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The City of Jacksonville is honoring a local teen killed in an argument over loud music.
Hundreds, including Jordan's father Ron and two local DJ's, gathered Saturday at the Jacksonville Landing to celebrate the city's first Jordan Davis Day.
Saturday would've been Davis' 18th birthday. The teen was shot and killed in November during an argument at a Southside gas station.
Michael Dunn is charged with killing Davis. He claims it was self defense. Dunn is due in court February 19th.
