Jax Beach approves food trucks
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- People will soon be able to line up for service from food truck vendors at the Beaches.
On Monday night, The Jacksonville Beach city council approved 5-1 second reading of an ordinance that allows mobile food vendors to expand their operations from just festivals.
The ordinance allows the truck to operate with certain restrictions, such as maintaining a distance of 150 feet from any residence.
Councilwoman Jeanell Wilson was the dissenting vote. Councilman Steve Hartkemeyer was not in attendance.
