Jaxport CEO agrees to Tampa port contract
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- Jaxport's CEO has agreed to the terms of a new contract with the Tampa Port Authority.
Right now, the agreement must get the final approval of the board. That is expected to happen on Tuesday.
Paul Anderson is just two years into a 3-year contract with Jaxport. He is being paid $320,000 a year under that deal. If he takes the job in Tampa, he would get a raise to $350,000 a year.
The Tampa contract's effective date is January 7, 2013.
