Funeral this morning for 18-year-old Pedro Menendez Student

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Family and friends will gather this morning at the Cross Road Community Church in East Palatka to remember 18-year-old Jerad Revels.

Even at such a young age, those who knew him say Revels was dedicated to helping his family and loved helping out on the family farm.

Revels was killed last Wednesday morning when his tractor overturned trapping him underneath. Deputies say Revels was moving one of the tractors in a field when its wheels slipped into a water-filled ditch. The tractor flipped crushing the young farmer.

Revels was the second student at Pedro Menendez High School who died last week. 19-year-old Ryan Ford died five days before Revels during a fight at a bonfire party.

Revels' funeral is this morning at 10 a.m.
