JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- River City Gourmet Shoppe is pulling out the herbs and spicing up Labor Day with fun side dishes.
Tomato Caprese: Cut grape tomatoes in half. Scewer with a toothpick. Add a mozerella ball and leaf of basil. Drizzle with Balsamic Vinagerette.
Kabobs: Marinate 1" cubes of chicken in Good Seasonings dressing for a minimum of three hours or up to 24 hours. Skewer chicken, onion, pineapple chunks, Keilbasa sausage and red peppers. Grill to perfection.
Herbed Corn: Take and ear of corn, baste it with olive oil, sprinkle a mixure of herbs on it and grill. Or boil the corn, baste with butter and put wing sauce on it.
Boursin Cheese Spread: Heat up two blocks of cream cheese to a yogurt consistency, add Boursin Cheese Spread spice mix, serve with bread, vegetables or anything you love to put cheese spread on.
