LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Lake City police say a warrant has been issued for a suspect in a fatal armed robbery in April.

On April 27, at about 1:36 p.m., police were called to the A&M Discount Beverage store on S.E. Duval Street. Officers arrived to discover the suspects had fled the scene and a victim was shot.

55-year-old owner Rajni Patel was shot and killed. His wife, Daxa Patel, was also there, but wasn't hurt.

Investigators say James Leonard Johnson and Ernest Larry Grandison were the men responsible. Johnson was arrested in May, but Grandison is on the loose. He's considered armed and dangerous and is wanted for murder and robbery.

A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for credible information leading to the successful arrest and prosecution. If you know anything, call the Lake City Police Department anonymously on the TIP line at (386) 719-2068.
